You need jumper cables, and make sure both cars are parked and turned off.
The cars can be brought close together as long as they are not touching. Then attach the red cable to the positive terminal of the dead battery, and the other end of the red cable to the positive terminal of the charged battery. Then connect the black cable to the negative terminal on the charged battery, and the other end of the black cable to a metal, unpainted part of the car with the dead battery. This can be any clean, solid metal surface, such as a bracket or bolt, away from the battery and fuel system. Then start the car with the charged battery and let it run for a minute to charge the dead battery. Then you can start the vehicle with the dead battery. Once the dead battery is revived, you can remove the jumper cables in the reverse order that you put them on in. And then you can be on your way. Also remember to drive the vehicle that had the dead battery for at least 5-10 minutes, to allow the battery to charge. Or else you risk a likely chance of the vehicle’s battery dying again the next time you try to drive it. It's important to note that if the battery fails to hold a charge or the jumpstart does not work, there may be an underlying issue with the battery or the electrical system of the vehicle. In such cases, it's advisable to call us for assistance or just have the battery tested and potentially replaced.

This way you can help yourself out if these emergency issues arise, and you do not need to call someone to provide an additional vehicle to help jumpstart the car.
